Up for sale, a 2011 Tokai Love Rock model LS160 in exceptional condition and in perfect working order, 100% original save for an upgraded pair of Gibson Burstbucker PAF pickups. This modern Tokai iteration of the Love Rock platform faithfully captures the finer points of a vintage ‘50s Les Paul with a chunky mahogany neck (long tenon joint), two-piece carved maple top on a a mahogany body, and a bound rosewood fretboard, CTS pots and Sprague Orange Drop caps.<br><br>Lightweight at 8lbs 15oz, this LS160 has a resonant, authoritative acoustic response with great midrange warmth and sonic heft faithfully captured by the upgraded pair of Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers. The Burstbuckler 1 & 2 pickups feature traditional Alnico II magnet construction, delivering an array of classic PAF-style tonalities, with and harmonically-rich bridge pickup that has a sweet growl, and a fat neck pickup that retains ideal clarity and woody cut.
